Terms and Conditions of Entry – Sony Prepaid Digital Mastercard Incentive

  1. Instructions on how to claim the reward and go into the draw to win form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. This promotion has one (1) component:
    1. A non-reloadable Sony Prepaid Digital Mastercard® with a pre determined value (“Prepaid Digital Mastercard”), as outlined in Section 7, by each eligible claimant (a person who meets the requirements of these Terms and Conditions) who completes the sale of an Eligible Product during the Promotion Period in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
  2. Offer is not valid in conjunction with any other offer.
  3. Participation in this Promotion is only open to Australian residents who are 18 years and older. Claimants under 18 years old must have parental/guardian approval to claim and further, the parent/guardian of the claimant must read and consent to these Terms and Conditions. Parents/guardians may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to the minor submitting a claim in this promotion.
  4. Promotion commences 12:01AM AEDT on 8 December 2025 and closes at 11:59PM AEDT on 15th January 2026 (“Promotion Period”).

  5. To be eligible to claim a Sony Prepaid Digital Mastercard, individuals must:
    1. Must have sold or be responsible for the sale of an eligible product (section 7), from a registered an authorised distributor of the “eligible products” within the Promotional Period; and
    2. not have previously claimed a Prepaid Digital Mastercard for that particular sale.

  1. Process to receive Sony Prepaid Digital Mastercard:
    1. Once an individual has submitted a CLAIM FORM for the Eligible Product they will receive a confirmation of their submission via email.
    2. Please allow up to 28 business days from submitting your claim for it to be checked and approved to confirm that it complies with these Terms and Conditions.
    3. Once approved, you will receive an email notification. Please then allow up to 10 working days for your Sony Prepaid Digital Mastercard to be sent to your nominated email address. Please ensure correct email address are provided, Sony takes no responsibility or reimbursement for emailing Prepaid Digital Mastercard to incorrect email addresses that are provided by the claimant.

    Terms relating to Sony Prepaid Digital Mastercard

  2. The Sony Prepaid Digital Mastercard is issued by EML Payment Solutions Limited ABN 30 131 436 532 AFSL 404131 pursuant to license by Mastercard. T&Cs apply. Mastercard and the circles design are registered trademarks of Mastercard International Incorporated.
  3. The Sony Prepaid Digital Mastercard is subject to the following terms and conditions:
    1. Upon receiving a Sony Prepaid Digital Mastercard, individuals must download and activate the card within 3 months. Upon activation, the Sony Prepaid Digital Mastercard will be valid for 12 months.
    2. The Sony Prepaid Digital Mastercard can be used for purchasing goods and services where Mastercard prepaid cards are accepted for electronic transactions (excluding transactions at ATMs or over the counter at financial institutions). 
    3. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming a Sony Prepaid Digital Mastercard are not included. Any unused balance of a Sony Prepaid Digital Mastercard will not be awarded as cash returned. Redemption of a Sony Prepaid Digital Mastercard is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including those specified on the Sony Prepaid Digital Mastercard.
    4. The Sony Prepaid Digital Mastercard does not have cash out capability. It cannot be used to withdraw cash.
    5. The Sony Prepaid Digital Mastercard is not reloadable.
    6. Redemption of the Sony Prepaid Digital Mastercard is subject to the standard terms and conditions, full terms and conditions for the use of a Prepaid Digital Mastercard can be found at https://www.thinkwink.com.au/tos (under the heading “Tokenised Prepared Mastercard Terms and Conditions”).
    7. The Sony Prepaid Digital Mastercard redemption for this Promotion is administered by Think Wink Pty Ltd (ABN 59 640 766 310). The card is issued by EML Payment Solutions Limited (ABN 30 131 436 532) AFSL 404131 (“EML”) pursuant to license by Mastercard Asia/Pacific Pte. Ltd. and distributed by TCN Group Pty Limited ABN 87 626 501 568 (“The Card Network”) or (“TCN”) EML has authorised The Card Network to arrange for the issue of the card.
    8. Think Wink Pty Ltd will handle participants personal information in accordance with the terms of its Privacy Policy at: https://www.thinkwink.com.au/privacy.
  4. Each claimant agrees to indemnify the Promoter for any breach by them of the terms in clause 15, except to the extent this is due to the actions of Sony, its employees, contractors or agents. 
  5. Each claimant assigns all proprietary rights (including any intellectual property rights) they have in their review to the Promoter.   Each claimant acknowledges and agrees that their Eligible Review becomes the property of the Promoter.  The Promoter (and any Promoter Group Company) are entitled to use the Eligible Review for any purpose, including but not limited to any future promotion, marketing or publicity by the Promoter (or any Promoter Group Company), across any communication, media, or marketing platform owned or utilised by the Promoter (or any Promoter Group Company), including but not limited to any social media channels, websites, point of sale material, EDM messaging, or any other digital advertising, without compensation, attribution or liability.  Each Eligible Recipient acknowledges that the Promoter (or any Promoter Group Company) may also license the Content to third parties for promotion, marketing or publicity purposes.
  6. Claimants must retain their original proof of purchase document(s) (including eftpos receipt unless paid in cash) for all claims as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all claims when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of the claimant’s claims and forfeiture of any right to a reward.
  1. Any entrant found to have used a third party (including online competition entry site) to enter on their behalf will have all entries invalidated and any claim they have to any prize will be invalidated. If such an entrant is awarded a prize and then found to have breached this clause, the entrant must immediately return any prize awarded upon demand. The Promoter has sole discretion to determine if this clause has been breached by any entrant. The Promoter reserves the right to request whatever documentation it deems necessary to confirm if the entrant has breached this clause. An entrant must provide any requested documentation to the Promoter upon request.
  1. Any entrant found to be entering incorrect contact details, including incorrect email contact details, will have all entries invalidated and any claim to any prize will be invalidated. If such an entrant is awarded a prize and then found to have breached this clause, the entrant must immediately return any prize awarded upon demand. The Promoter has sole discretion to determine if this clause has been breached by any entrant. The Promoter reserves the right to request whatever documentation it deems necessary to confirm if the entrant has breached this clause. An entrant must provide any requested documentation to the Promoter upon request.
  1. If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to State and Territory legislation. Cash will not necessarily be awarded as a substitute. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and prize supplier's requirements. Each prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated.
  1. The Promoter highly recommends a current residential street address be provided when requested for ease of correspondence and potential prize delivery. The Promoter makes all reasonable efforts to deliver prizes to the addresses provided by Competition entrants. The Promoter cannot guarantee that any prizes returned to the Promoter due to non-delivery at the provided address will be re-sent to the prize winner.
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to sign a winner's deed of release or any other relevant forms or agreements that the Promoter deems necessary, to provide proof of identity, proof of age, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of entry validity (including phone bill) in order to claim a prize. Proof of identification, residency, age and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to conduct a redraw in the event that an entrant, claiming to be a winner, is unable to satisfy these Terms and Conditions or has breached these Terms and Conditions.
  1. The Promoter's decision in relation to any aspect of the Competition is subject to State and Territory legislation but also final and binding on each person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries. Prizes are subject to availability, not transferable or exchangeable and, with the exception of cash prizes, cannot be taken as cash. Prizes will be sent to the winner's nominated address as stated in their original entry. The Promoter and their associated agencies, and companies associated with this Competition will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit.
  2. Claimants can only participate in the promotion in their own name. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of claims and claimant’s details (including a claimant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the claim process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's sole discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter reserves its legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender.
  3. If there is a dispute as to the identity of a claimant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the claimant.
  4. The Promoter reserves the right to reclaim the Sony Prepaid Digital Mastercard from any claimant, or to request payment for the value of the Sony Prepaid Digital Mastercard amount where it has been partially or fully redeemed by the claimant or is no longer in the possession of the claimant, if an Eligible Product is returned (and the claimant receives a partial or full refund of the purchase price of the Eligible Product) after the claimant’s entry has been processed and the bonus Sony Prepaid Digital Mastercard has been successfully transferred.
  5. Any costs associated with accessing the promotional website remain the responsibility of each claimant and are dependent on the internet service provider used.
  6. The Promoter reserves the right to vary these Terms and Conditions, or to modify, suspend, reschedule or terminate this promotion, where it is reasonably necessary to protect its legitimate interests.   In addition, the Promoter may modify or extend the dates for the promotion (including the Purchase Period and/or Redemption Period) at its discretion.  
  7. If a claimant is under the age of 18 years, the reward will be awarded to the claimant's nominated parent or guardian on the successful claimant’s behalf.
  8. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law to disqualify any claimant, modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
  9. The use of any automated software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allow a claimant to automatically claim repeatedly is prohibited and will render all claims submitted by that claimant invalid.
  1. Prize-winners are advised that tax implications may arise from their prize winnings and they should seek independent financial advice prior to acceptance of that prize.
  2. The Promoter (subject to State and Territory legislation) reserves the right to amend, cancel or suspend this Competition if an event beyond the control of the Promoter corrupts or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Competition. The Promoter will disqualify any individual who has tampered with the entry process or any other aspect of this Competition. In particular, entries via the Internet, computer generation and use "scripting" is not permitted and will not be accepted.

    3. Statutory rights and consumer guarantees

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees set out in the Australian Consumer Law of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”).
  4. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any tax liability incurred by a claimant; (e) taking/use of a reward or (f) any other way connected with this promotion.

Privacy Collection statement

  1. The name of winners may be used for promotional purposes by the Promoter, unless a winner otherwise notifies the Promoter at the time of accepting their prize. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their personal information provided in connection with this Competition for the purposes of facilitating the conduct of the Competition and awarding any prizes and any applicable statutory authorities and to conduct direct marketing activities. Without limiting the foregoing, entrants' personal information provided in connection with this Competition will be handled in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Statement, a copy of which is available at http://www.sony.com.au/section/privacypolicy.
  1. In participating in the prizes, the winners agree to participate and co-operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Competition, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed. The winners (and their companions) agree to granting the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide, including online social networking sites, and the winners (and their companions) will not be entitled to any fee for such use.

    2. Governing Law

  2. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales.  Each claimant submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
